Hallberg-Rassy Connectie on Instagram

Hallberg-Rassy Connectie now also present on instagram and has more than 240 followers

 

You may have seen it by now. Since this week, the Hallberg-Rassy Connectie is also present at Instagram. Marloes Andreas (HR 43 Windfinder) is willing to take on the role of HRC social media editor and has now created two accounts for the Hallberg-Rassy Connectie, namely: a public account accessible to everyone and a members account accessible only to members. 

 

Would you also like to post a photo or video?

On the HRC Instagram accounts only pictures and movies can be placed by the administrators. These are Marloes (editorial social media), Madeleine (membership administration) and Mira (webmaster). They review and post the photo including commentary on Instagram. If you, as a member, want to post a photo or video (maximum 5 to 6 minutes) on the public or members section, mail this photo or video with the mention of Instagram public or members, ship’s name, place of recording and type of ship to Marloes via socialmedia@hallbergrassyconnectie.com

 

Public account aimed at all Hallberg-Rassy owners

The public account hallberg_rassy_connection is aimed at inspiring Hallberg-Rassy owners who have their own instagram account but are not yet a member of the Hallberg-Rassy Connection, through our photos and videos on Instagram. Through these photos they can easily link to our website and follow the path to become a member of the Connection. In this way we reach a large number of HR owners worldwide. The HRC social media editorial staff only publishes beautiful sailing pictures without depicting people. Of course, members can make photos of their own boat on which the crew is (partially) visible available to the public account.

 

Members share

In addition to the public section accessible to everyone, we also have a private account hallberg_rassy_members on instagram where members can show each other pictures. This part works for members using the peer-peer principle. In other words: you first have to ‘follow’ another member via instagram to be able to see each other’s photos. The HRC has no role in this. By following the Instagram hallberg_rassy_members account as a member, you can see the photos that the members have placed on members via Marloes. For the record we note that on the public account and the members account of the HRC the own pictures and movies of the followers of these accounts are not visible. 

 

Use of your own instagram account

Since our association and website is based on the membership of the boat, it is preferable if you as a member also create a bootinstagram account. However, this is not a necessity, you can also link your private instagram account to one or both HRC instagram accounts if you wish. Then following each other is a bit more difficult because in the absence of the ship’s name, the name coding of the instagram account may not always be clear to everyone immediately.
